NBA JALINGO BRANCH VISITS ROCK FM 92.3 JALINGO ON SENSITISATION DRIVE
As part of its ongoing sensitisation and public engagement drive, the Leadership of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Jalingo Branch, paid a visit to Rock FM 92.3 Jalingo on 14 September 2026, where the Branch Chairman, Dr. Daniel P. Saredau, was hosted on the station’s flagship Newspaper Review programme for an interactive session.
The Chairman was accompanied by the Branch Vice Chairman, Welfare Secretary and Publicity Secretary.
During the programme, Dr. Saredau spoke extensively on the role of the Nigerian Bar Association, both in advancing the professional interests of its members and in serving the wider society. He outlined the vision of his administration, anchored on members’ welfare, institutional excellence, professional integrity and digitalisation, and explained the Branch’s commitment to making these priorities meaningful to both lawyers and the public.
The Chairman also highlighted the broader responsibilities of the legal profession and the NBA in society, emphasising the role of the Bar in upholding the rule of law, safeguarding human rights and advancing the public interest. He underscored the responsibility of lawyers to remain a strong voice for justice, particularly in protecting the rights and interests of vulnerable and disadvantaged members of society.
The interactive session also provided an opportunity to engage the listening public on the place of the legal profession in promoting justice and strengthening confidence in the rule of law.
The engagement at Rock FM forms part of the Branch’s broader efforts to deepen public awareness of the role of the NBA and to maintain meaningful engagement with the community it serves.
The leadership of the NBA Jalingo Branch remains committed to building a vibrant, people-oriented Bar that actively advances the welfare of its members, serves the public interest and contributes to the effective administration of justice in Taraba State.
