NBA JALINGO BRANCH TO PARTNER WITH XPOWER SOLAR TO BOOST POWER RELIABILITY FOR MEMBERS AND BAR CENTRE

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Jalingo Branch, is set to partner with Xpower Solar, a provider of renewable energy solutions, in an initiative aimed at addressing power supply challenges affecting the Branch and its members. The proposed partnership emerged from a strategic meeting between the Leadership of the NBA Jalingo Branch and the Chief Executive Officer of Xpower Solar held on 11 August 2026, where both parties explored practical ways of improving access to reliable and sustainable electricity for legal practitioners and the Branch’s facilities. The partnership is expected to benefit both the NBA Jalingo Bar Centre and individual members of the Branch. As part of the proposed arrangement, Xpower Solar will undertake a comprehensive assessment of the energy requirements of the NBA Jalingo Bar Centre. The assessment will determine the Centre’s power needs and form the basis of a detailed proposal for the installation of an appropriate solar power system to support the Centre’s operations. Beyond the Bar Centre, the proposed partnership will also provide members of the NBA Jalingo Branch with access to discounted solar power systems for their chambers and homes. Xpower Solar has further indicated its willingness to offer flexible payment arrangements to make the systems more accessible to interested members. The initiative reflects the Branch’s broader commitment to members’ welfare and professional empowerment, recognising the importance of reliable electricity to modern legal practice and the effective operation of the Branch’s facilities. Through the partnership, the NBA Jalingo Branch seeks to promote practical solutions to the power challenges faced by members while also supporting the adoption of sustainable energy solutions within the legal community.
