Hafsat Abbas Arabi is a legal practitioner and Senior State Counsel with the Taraba State Ministry of Justice, Jalingo. She holds an LL.B. with specialisation in Islamic Law from Ahmadu Bello University and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, Bagauda, Kano Campus.
She began her legal practice with M.B. Tukur & Associates, Kaduna, and subsequently practised with I.A. Jalo & Co., Jalingo, from 2020 to 2026, before joining the Taraba State Ministry of Justice as a Senior State Counsel.
At the Bar, she has served in various capacities, including Secretary, Young Lawyers Forum Electoral Committee; Secretary, Welfare Committee, Equity Bar; and Member, Electoral Committee, Equity Bar. She also served as Secretary of the 16 Days Activism and Dinner Planning Committee, FIDA Equity Bar, and currently serves as a Co-opted Member of the 2026-2028 Executive Committee, NBA Jalingo Branch.
